- Barbara Romero
- Barbara has
studied and performed a variety of Spanish dance forms such as
flamenco, escuela bolera, neo-classical, and jota. She has studied
both in the U.S. and Spain and has recently added the study of
flamenco singing. Ms. Romero has toured the U.S. five times as
a soloist with the Boston Flamenco Ballet, has performed with
the Carlota Santana Spanish Dance Arts Company, and was featured
for three years at Meson Asturias in Paco Montes' Flamenco Show,
in addition to appearing with Romeria Flamenca. She is currently
artistic director of Danzas Espanolas. Her other training includes
ballet, modern, and Middle-Eastern dance. Ms. Romero teaches
Spanish dance, and maintains a Zen Shiatsu practice.

- Isabel Soler
- Born in New
Jersey, Isabel began her dance training as a child at the Joffrey
Ballet and Washington Ballet Schools. She performed with the
Alborada Spanish Dance Theater and at various tableaus in NYC,
Long Island, and NJ, including, most recently, with Reynaldo
Rincon. She studied jazz with Miguel Godreau (of the Alvin Ailey
Co.), and modern dance with Sabatino Verlezza (of the May O'Donnell
Co.) with whom she has performed. Isabel studied flamenco, Escuela
Bolera, and neo classical Spanish dance in NYC and Madrid, with
Antonio del Castillo, Jose Molina, Carmela Greco, Mariano Parra,
and Jerane Michele. She also formed Danzas Espandolas with Barbara
Romero in 1998 (Co-director).
